| An Altar Of Remembrance
updated 1st January 2006 On the surface the Covenant of Remembrance agreed to by the congregation 3 December 2000 was a wonderful way to deal with some major issues between the pastors, elders and many who had left the church under unpleasant circumstances. The main architect for this initiative seemed to have been Elder Chairman Denis Wenaas. Some would later say that there were no personal pleas for forgiveness by any pastor only a commitment that there would be no more reoccurrence of the conditions that precipitated this event and the printed covenant a year later. The last part asks church members & attendees to commit and live out these principles for the coming year - was that intended as a year or for ever? Please note the last covenant: "To become an ambassador of reconciliation in my home, my workplace, my social, circles, and my church" Question: How does that relate to the many times Barry & Jennifer have asked for reconciliations with the Elders, Pastors and the church, yet to date have had been given threats, humiliation and rejection? |

| The inspired painting produced by Sharon Williams for this event can be contrasted to a very different painting produced by Sharon in mid 2004 when the pastors and elders claimed they were under repeated spiritual attack. Was it real or an attempt to cover their complicity in abusing the Pendrgasts and others? Click to see the other painting. | |||||
