I'm always enthused by your passion, particularly about the Marriage Course, Alpha, and other ways of reaching our community. We need passion, and we need your skills and sweat as well. Your concerns regarding communication and coordination are valid. I think I know some of the reasons why the communication has been poor, but that does not make it right. I will be speaking to Pastor Jim and hopefully Pastor Marg this afternoon, so I'll try to see what I can find out about the plans and will also communicate your concerns. My blunt input (as you requested, Barry!) is to enjoy your vacation, relax on the beach, pray for SCCC, and come back with renewed energy. Hopefully, we'll have some of the problems sorted out by then, but of course not all of them. This morning I was reminded by a book that I am reading that God is in the business of building our character, not solving our problems, and that character-building takes time. Sometimes the process seems slow when I look at others around me, but it seems slowest in me! So please do pray for me and the other staff while you are away, but beyond that, please forget about it and enjoy your vacation. Blessings to you! Dan
