A notice read to two congregations by Elder Chairman Kevin Phillips and by Elders Cracknell and Edwards to the Pendergast's home-group. Quite who invited who to the Pendergasts home group is unknown - whether the Elders or the coordinator Heather Kecan? Heather Kecan refused to divulge. A particularly cruel & insidious thing to do to cut off all support. The harm done to the Pendergasts reputation could never be recovered. Some said they thought Barry & Jennifer had committed something worse than murder. Then just over a month the Elders were found at fault, a year later all their charges in this notice obviously manufactured to save the Senior Pastor Jim Wallace and his Ministry Leader wife Barton.

Yet if I had been asked, ‘Could you point to an example in the church of how a Christian should live?’ I would have said, ‘Barry and Jenny.’ They were always there working, my kids loved them, their marriage course was phenomenal, and I learned most from watching their own caring relationship. I thought, ‘If they can be kicked out, I’m toast."

Amusingly no questions were ever answered - how could they be? All the charges were based on lies.

When will the signed Elders, Pastors Jim Wallace & Marg Cumberlin come outside the walls of South Calgary Community Church , into the light, infront of their peers, in the broader Christian community and explain the reasons for this letter?
