Having been caught with a single piece of evidence and a pile of lies to justify their previous actions the Elders now 'collected' information from various sources in and outside the church after the return of the Pendergasts in March 2004. Anybody reading the so called piece of evidence would likely agree it incriminates pastors Wallace & Cumberlin and Kevin Phillips.

The Pastors and elders deliberately make the circumstances as difficult as possible by their collective harrasment and isolation of the Pendergasts. They maybe are going through the formalities of a process buts its obvious the Pendergasts must go - they know too much about the methods used to abuse multiple people - often in secret. The Pendergasts now request how this information was collected - were the statements given freely? Who collected the evidence?Was the evidence collaborated by others? Why did the persons involved not make contact with the Pendergasts first under Matthew 18:15 to address their concerns? Why did the Elders refuse to listen to evidence that the Pendergasts we willing to supply?

The Pendergasts asked the Elders repeatedly to have an independent inquiry into abuse at the church. Their answer was "We do not believe you" and then excommunicated the Pendergasts a second time. With the release of Jim Grady's story, the additional one added here and the new one in the Western Standard article will they now see the patten of behavior that was not stopped even after the last reconciliation service? How many stories will it take?

The Pendergasts now request a meeting with all those who passed information on to the elders to make contact with them to arrange a mutially convenient time to meet and discuss their concerns.

Update January 2006 - needless to say nobody came forward - the meeting on 19th October 2004 was nothing more than a kangeroo court held by elders who rank among the most dishonest people the Pendergast have ever met. These are the people Executive Director Ron Berg and Area Minster Bob Walthers of North American Baptist Conference supported so the long time abuse could be covered up. A murderer would have had a better chance. it became obvious this meeting was merely a formality to stamp the second excommunication. And elder Clarke Grue commented in the Western Standard" We don't know how we could have been more truefull and honest"

The Pendergast continue to hold the elders responsible for this immoral and unethical behaviour. The elders include Kevin Phillips, Craig Edwards, Reg Cracknel, Phyllis Bayly, Jim Prichard, Richard Woodman, Clark Grue, Denise Chaulk.
